Synopsis of Twisted Hate
He hates her…almost as
much as he wants her.
Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on
his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he
couldn’t charm- except for Jules f**king Ambrose.
The beautiful redhead has
been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in
a way no woman ever has.
When their animosity
explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that’ll get her
out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with
simple rules.
No jealousy.
No strings attached.
And absolutely no falling in
love.
**
Outgoing and ambitious,
Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who’s focused on one thing: passing the
attorney’s bar exam.
The last thing she needs is
to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable…no matter how
good-looking he is.
But the more she realizes
there’s more than meets the eye to the man she’s hated for so long.
Her best friend’s brother.
Her nemesis.
And her only salvation.
Theirs is a match made in
hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they’re faced
with truths that could either save them…or destroy everything they’ve worked for.
Twisted Hate is a
steamy enemies with benefits/enemies to lovers romance. It’s book three in the
Twisted Series but can be read as a standalone.
Warning: It contains
explicit content and profanity. Recommended for 18+.
“You’re it for me. Whether it’s today, tomorrow,
a year, or decades from now, that’ll never change.”
We hold Twisted Hate by Ana Huang to
a high standard as it is the third installment in the Twisted series. I enjoyed
the books that came before this one. Since twisted love, I've been looking
forward to seeing how Josh and Jules's story unfolds.
The start
We finally get to witness the epic
showdown between Josh and Jules, where their fiery exchanges turn them from
bitter foes into unexpected lovers. While the constant verbal jousting between
them might seem intimidating at first, as the story unfolds, you’ll find it
easier to embrace their dialogue. Their journey begins with the classic
‘enemies-to-lovers’ theme, eventually leading Jules and Josh to collaborate and
establish a mutually beneficial arrangement.
The middle
The book reveals the troubled
histories of the main characters, as Josh confronts his difficult relationship
with his father and reconnects with his sister’s boyfriend, who was once his
closest friend, Alex. Meanwhile, Jules grapples with her own past resurfacing
in her present. The narrative is skillfully crafted, seamlessly weaving
together various plotlines, and the foreshadowing adds an impressive layer of
anticipation to the story.
We are offered a glimpse into the
complexities of our main characters, as we learn about their tumultuous pasts
and witness their journey of overcoming challenges together. Personally, I’ve
been a fan of Jules’ character right from the beginning of the Twisted Series.
She’s always played the role of a fun and supportive friend to Ava, Bridget,
and Stella. Her confidence and determination to make amends and move forward
make her one of the most resilient characters in the series. Josh, on the other
hand, complements Jules’ personality perfectly. Their constant banter adds a
unique dynamic to their relationship.

The end- Twisted Hate
The conclusion of this book took
an unexpected turn. It had me feeling tense and on the edge of my seat during
the climactic scenes. However, in line with the pattern of previous books in
the Twisted series, this one also concludes with a satisfying resolution and a
subtle hint of what’s to come in the next and final installment, ‘Twisted
Lies.’
Among all the books in the series,
‘Twisted Hate’ stands out as the most enjoyable one so far. It combines humor,
drama, suspense, and everything in between, including passionate scenes and our
main characters being drawn into thrilling adventures. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
