Twisted: love
By Ana Huang
Twisted#1
He has a heart of ice…but for her, he’d burn the
world.
Alex Volkov is a devil blessed with the face of an
angel and cursed with a past he can’t escape.
Driven by a tragedy that has haunted him for most of
his life, his ruthless pursuits for success and vengeance leave little room for
matters of the heart.
But when he's forced to look after his best friend's
sister, he starts to feel something in his chest:
A crack.
A melt
A fire that could end his world as he knew it.

Ava Chen is a free spirit trapped by nightmares of a
childhood she can't remember.
But despite her broken past, she’s never stopped seeing the beauty in the world…including the heart beneath the icy exterior of a man she shouldn’t want.
Her brother's best friend.
Her neighbor.
Her savior and her downfall.
Theirs is a love that was never supposed to happen-
but when it does, it unleashes secrets that could destroy them both… and
everything they hold dear.
Twisted Love is a contemporary brother’s best
friend/grumpy sunshine romance. It’s book one in the Twisted series but can be
read as a standalone.
WARNING: This book contains a possessive antihero,
explicit sexual content, and profanity. No cheating or menage, but if you’re
looking for a traditionally sweet, loveable hero, this is not the book for you.
Recommended for 18+.
“She felt like heaven to my hell, the closest I’d ever
get to salvation, and yet I still wanted to drag her into the depths of Hades
with me.”

Twisted Love Plot- Twisted Love Summary
Twisted Love tells the
story of Ava Chen, a sweet and loving young woman. Ava is a charming girl with

thaw Alex Volkov's stone heart when their lives get intertwined and something
begins to ignite in Alex's heart for the first time in his life?
My Views on Twisted Love
It was my first time
reading a novel written by Ana Huang. I was unfamiliar with her writing style,
so I went into the twisted series with no expectations, and it turned out to be
the best thing I have read in a while.
Twisted love is
everything a romance fan could want. Ana outperformed in every chapter. The
plot has a mafia vibe to it. However, in a good way.
Alex is a handsome
clever affluent dude who looks after his best friend's little sister. Their
first interactions aren't all charming and flattering, but as the novel
unfolds, we get to see a new side of Alex.
The work contains
numerous steamy sex scenes left to the reader's interpretation. But I had fun
with it. (Some were even relatable, wink.)
Overall, the plot is
well-connected. We witness everything as the past is acknowledged, corresponding
with the main characters' current tragedies.
Although the plot
twists were practically foreseeable, the climax nonetheless took me by
surprise. Alex's decision to let go of Ava after that unforeseen revelation
made sense, but I felt awful for Ava. It was almost amazing to see Ava refuse
to forgive Alex easily; when you love someone so profoundly, you fall into the
habit of readily forgiving them, but Ava held up for herself until Alex
actually worked his way up to recover her trust. That really impressed me. The
finale was generally satisfactory, albeit predictable, but I never saw Alex
singing in public coming. Just men written by women.
